Who we are
Our primary aim of the Counselling and Career Centre is removing barriers during your studies, support your personal development and increase employability of students from Mendel university.
We provide the services free of change to students and employees at MENDELU and applicants for studies at Mendel university.
What we do
Psychological counselling
Our qualified psychologists help you find solutions to difficult personal, family, partnership and study situations. Psychologogists can also help you with self-development by applying your potential and knowledge about yourself.
Psychological counselling can be provided in Czech and English.

Coaching
If you strive to address actively your personal and professional lives and to achieve your goals, coaching can be the right choice for you. During coaching process you will discover and develop your abilities, skills and values and the most suitable solutions for you.

Career counselling
Our career counsellors can provide you a support in searching for a suitable career and studies, planning and managing your career, and in dealing with obstacles during career development. Career cousellors can also help you with orientation on the labour market, with your CV and motivation letter.

Study counselling
Study counsellors can help you develop skills for studying by applying effective learning strategies. Our target is to teach you how to think about learning, how to avoid unnecessary difficulties and how to deal with various study situations.

Support for students with specific needs
We pay special attention to support students with their learning disabilities, physical or sensory impairments, mental illness, autistic spectrum disorders, and chronic somatic illness which affect their study. We can arrange modification of studies, adjust your study conditions to remove barriers for you.
Support to students with special needs can be provided in Czech and English.
Neurofeedback
If you would like to ease or cure your sleep disorder, stress, migraine, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, learning disorder, or if you would like to find and develop your potential and improve your performance, than the neurofeedback can be for you.
Neurofeedback can only be provided in Czech.

Job opportunities
Together with two of the largest universities in Brno, we involve in organization of the largest and popular job fair for students and graduates JobChallenge. Attenting the job fair, it gives you a wide range of opportunities, for the career growth, for personal meetings with employers, sharing business experiences, attend workshops and talk shows with prominent personalities from the professional world.
We also participate in organization of the Career Day MENDELU, the annual job fair for Mendel university students and graduates.
