The primary aim of the Counselling and Career Centre is removing barriers during studies, support personal development and increase employability for students.
Our service is free of cost for MENDELU students, applicants for studies at MENDELU, MENDELU graduates and employees.
What we do
Psychological counselling
Our qualified psychologists help clients find solutions to difficult personal, family, partnership and study situations. Psychologogists can also help clients with self-development by applying the potential and knowledge about themselves.

Coaching
Clients who care to actively address their personal and professional lives and achieve goals, can try coaching. During coaching process, clients can discover and develop abilities, skills and values and for them the most suitable solutions.

Career counselling
Career counsellors provide support to clients in situations like finding suitable career and studies, planning and managing the career, and dealing with obstacles in career development. Career cousellors can help clients with orientation in the labour market, CV, motivation letter etc.

Study counselling
Study counselling can help students develop their study skills by practising working and learning strategies. The aim is to teach students how to think about learning, how to avoid unnecessary difficulties and deal with various study situations.

Support for students with specific needs
We pay special attention to support students with learning disabilities, physical or sensory impairments, mental illness, autistic spectrum disorders, and chronic somatic illness which affect the study. We provide services leading to studies modification, i.e. adjusting conditions to remove as many barriers to studies as possible.

EEG biofeedback
The EEG biofeedback method is for those who want to: to relieve or get rid of unpleasant difficulties such as sleep disorders, stress, migraines, attention disorders, learning disorders, etc., or to discover and develop their potential, or to improve your performance.

The Counselling and Career Centre organizes courses with focus on personal and professional development. Courses help students evolve their abilities and realize their life goals.

Job opportunities
JobChallenge is one of the largest job fairs for students and graduates organized in cooperation with Counselling Centre MENDELU, Masaryk University and Brno University of Technology. The fair brings a wide range of opportunities for career growth, i.e. personal meetings with employers, sharing business experiences, workshops, talk shows with prominent personalities from the professional world.
Career Day MENDELU is an annualy organized job fair for students and graduates from MENDEL university.
