University of the Third Age MENDELU

The Institute of Lifelong Learning has been organizing senior education in the form of the University of the Third Age since 2003 when it opened the first year with the educational programme „Man and Nature at the Beginning of the Third Millennium“.

Since then, more than 11,000 people have attended lectures at the University of the Third Age. This number demonstrates the ever-growing interest of older people in spending their time in a meaningful way, learning about new developments in the world of science and at the same time making new friends.
