South Moravian Senior Academy
The South Moravian Senior Academy is a project whose main goal is to provide interesting knowledge in the field of safety, health, psychology or finance to seniors and to help them navigate complex life situations. The South Moravian Senior Academy is a direct follow-up to the very popular Brno Senior Academy implemented by the Brno Municipal Police.
Under the guidance of experienced lecturers and professionals from practice, not only traditional lectures, but also practical exercises and accompanying activities await the audience. Listeners of the South Moravian Senior Academy can look forward to topics such as fire prevention in the home, crime prevention, road safety, orientation in the social and pension system or first aid training.
The study is intended for students aged 50+ from Vyškov, Znojmo and their surroundings.
The study is FREE.
The study consists of 24 lessons of two teaching hours and takes place in two periods:
September-December 2024 = 12 sessions.
February-May 2025 = 12 sessions
The project was supported by the subsidy title Subsidies outside the subsidy programme approved by the South Moravian Region Representative Council (No.1550/22/Z16).
