Who are students with SP?
Students with special needs are students with:
- visual impairment,
- hearing impairment,
- mobility limitations,
- Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) including ADD and ADHD,
- autism spectrum disorder,
- mental illness,
- chronic somatic conditions including impaired communication skills.
What can we help you with?
- Rental or using your own compensatory aids and technologies in the classroom.
- Ensuring wheelchair accessibility and availability.
- Taking notes in class and providing suitable learning materials.
- Setting up an optimal study plan (e.g. dividing the workload, taking into account medical treatment).
- Support in the event of increased absences due to hospitalisation or deteriorating health.
- Specific accommodation requirements in student residences and familiarisation with the university campus.
- Psychological support and study counselling and other study-related topics.
